Gizmo - our little 'Gizzie' - is one handsome, sweet BIG boy!  Born in a feral colony and captured as a little tyke in a live trap back in June '09, he has made a remarkable transformation!   He's solid as a rock and is more than likely a Maine Coon mix, with Persian-like qualities to his fur.  Sweet as all get out, and his fur - oh, my!  Soft & silky - you'll just LOVE to run your fingers through it and he'll LOVE to have you do that! He has a FABULOUS 'lion's mane ruff' from shoulder to shoulder around his chest... I refer to it as his 'Survivor Immunity Necklace' because this sweet boy is definately a SURVIVOR!

Gizmo has been waiting his whole life for someone to FALL IN LOVE with him and make him part of their family! We have no idea WHY this beautiful, handsome, laid back kitty is still available for adoption... it has to be his coloring, because black cats are traditionally overlooked and are more likely to be euthanized in shelters. He is not solid black ~ as he's matured, he is a brown/black smoke, with beautiful white and silvery gray undertones.  Gizmo is a wonderful, loving, sweet natured boy, who will most likely get along with any other animals in the home, too!   He has turned into a real cuddlebug and purrs at the drop of a hat, too!

We sure hope that special someone, with an eye for beauty beyond color, falls in love with this boy and finally adopts him into their loving furr-ever home! He could just be the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE!!
