Frostbite Feline Lookin Fur Love!

Rescued from the bitter cold in sub-zero temperatures and in need of medical attention as a tiny kitten, Winter lost the tip of her right ear, almost the whole left ear and almost half her tail due to severe frostbite in the winter of '08/'09. Actually, her short little frostbit ear is kinda cute!  The fur has regrown around the tip and it really just looks like a short ear!  Her other ear is completely gone, but it also looks just fine, and her tail just looks short, as the fur is fully regrown on that, too!   She's all healthy now and looking for love!

Winter is very shy, but she's discovered what love is and when things are quiet she comes with those big gold eyes begging for some kindness and sometimes a lap to share.  When the other cats come for attention, she's usually there too.  She tolerates the dog but doesn't care much for children or strangers.

She'd love to be adopted together with her brother, Lil' Sid! They've been through so much together and have never been apart.  She often looks to him for reassurance, so when he's around she's more confident.  They are both looking for the sweet, furr-ever home they both so deserve!

PLEASE!!!
Don't overlook them just because they are BLACK.  DID YOU KNOW... BLACK cats are often euthanized before ever given a chance at love because they are so often overlooked by prospective adopters in shelters?!!?  WHY?  They are absoluely stunning, as you'll see when you visit these two beauties!  They have the big, round, gold eyes, typically found in the Bombay, and they are sleek and silky, too!  Both have a dab of white on their chest, and some on their bellies.

If BLACK is YOUR FAVORITE color, then stop and visit Winter and Lil' Sid to see if they would make your family complete!!
