TigeraCat Rescues is a NO-KILL animal welfare organization. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity and strictly donations funded. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. We do not receive government grants or funding and are not affiliated with any national organization, although we do use many of their services to keep our costs as low as possible & provide the public with educational materials. TigeraCat Rescues is operated by volunteers only. There are no paid employees. TigeraCat Rescues does not profit in any way (other than the satisfaction of knowing we are helping animals and assisting in completing loving families).

We are raising funds to build a No-Kill facility in Black Hawk County, Iowa. Our goals for this facility include:

Educational services including a full reference library, videos, seminars, and classes on a variety of subjects such as pet-care, Trap-Neuter-Return, spay/neuter, disease research, veterinary care resources, pet-care nutrition, behavior modification, No-Kill options, and more.

Support Hotline where residents can get assistance and resources to help with animal-care issues.

We have found a possible location (over 5000 square-feet) but need to raise $85,000 to complete renovations so we can move in. A matching grant may be available if we can raise the funds. This would provide Black Hawk County with its first state-of-the-art, NO-KILL Facility!

TigeraCat Rescues waives the adoption fee for any senior cat (over age 7) being adopted by an individual over age 55!
