T igeraCat Rescues is a licensed, No-Kill animal welfare charity operated only by volunteers. There is no paid staff, therefore no individual person profits in any way (other than the satisfaction of knowing they are saving lives, helping animals, and completing loving families).
TigeraCat Rescues does not receive government grants or funding and is not affiliated with any national organization (Although it does use many national services to keep costs as low as possible & provide the public with educational materials).

TigeraCat rescues has established a fund to build a No-Kill facility in Black Hawk county, Iowa. Goals for this facility include:
- Adoption Center for rescued cats & kittens.
- Low-cost spay/neuter clinic
- Educational Resource center services including a full reference library, videos, seminars, and classes on a variety of subjects such as pet-care, spay/neuter, disease research & management, veterinary care resources, pet-care nutrition, behavior modification, Neo-natal kitten care, Trap-Neuter-Return, No-Kill options, and more.
- Support Hotline where residents can get assistance and resources to help with animal-care issues.
We have located a possible location that includes land, parking lot, and a 5000 square-foot building. But we need to raise $85,000 to begin renovations and sponsors to assist in the utility costs.
This will provide Black Hawk County with its first NO-KILL Facility!

Emergency, Low-income, Veterinary Fund
Thousands of deserving pets are going without as their owners face these tough financial times. More often than not, putting food on the table is a struggle in itself, let alone the cost involved in getting needed vet-care for that beloved cat that's been so loyal and understanding while you fight to keep working. Too often these pets are left at kill-shelters, where they won't find treatment, because the owners cannot afford veterinary care and have nowhere else to turn.
TigeraCat Rescues is establishing a fund to temporarily assist Black Hawk county's less-fortunate spay/neuter, vaccinate, and provide other needed vet-care for their loving companions. So they don't have to give them up. You can help...
Unaltered & unvaccinated pets account for millions of homeless animals each year and greatly contribute to the spread of preventable diseases. You can help stop this cycle.
